Nina Shipman was an American actress born on August 30, 1938 in Pasadena, California. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a child actor, appearing in various film and television projects throughout the 1950s and 1960s.

Shipman is perhaps best known for her role as Laura Stanley in the popular television series "Dr. Kildare" which aired from 1961 to 1966. She also had recurring roles in other TV shows such as "Hawaiian Eye", "Perry Mason", and "The Big Valley".

In addition to her television work, Shipman also appeared in several films including "The Unforgiven" (1960) starring Burt Lancaster and Audrey Hepburn.

After retiring from acting, Shipman pursued a career in real estate and lived a quiet life out of the spotlight. She passed away on May 22, 2017 at the age of 78.
